North Korea plans to send military construction workers and deminers to Russia

Russia's Security Council Secretary, Sergei Shoigu, announced North Korea will send 6,000 military personnel to Russia. This includes 1,000 sappers for mine clearance and 5,000 construction workers for infrastructure restoration in the Kursk region. This follows previous reports of North Korean troops fighting alongside Russian forces. The move deepens cooperation between the two nations, raising concerns among the U.S., South Korea, and Japan regarding potential violations of UN sanctions and advancements in North Korea's military capabilities.
