Gaza: Dozens killed by Israeli fire as they sought desperately needed aid, Palestinian health ministry says

At least 51 Palestinians were killed and over 200 injured by Israeli fire while waiting for aid in Khan Younis, Gaza. This is the highest reported death toll near aid centers since Israel partially lifted its blockade. The IDF says it was responding to a gathering near an aid truck, while eyewitnesses report airstrikes targeting civilians seeking food. The incident highlights the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where aid is insufficient and distribution points are located in active combat zones, leading to repeated attacks on civilians. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has called for an investigation.
