A study of over 47,000 women found a 13% higher chance of healthy aging (reaching 70 without major chronic diseases) among those with the highest caffeine intake, mainly from coffee. The research, presented at the American Society for Nutrition's annual meeting, suggests that 2-4 eight-ounce cups of coffee daily may be beneficial, but doesn't prove causation. Tea, decaf coffee, and cola showed different results. Moderation and healthy additions are recommended to avoid negative caffeine side effects.
