Apple will launch public beta testing for AirPods firmware updates in July, accessible through its free Beta Software Program. This follows a developer beta release last week which included features like enhanced call audio quality, studio-quality recording, and a camera remote function for AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2. The public beta will allow users to test upcoming firmware updates without needing a developer account.
