Iran will only agree to talks to end Middle East crisis if Israel stops bombing

Amidst escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, Iran has stated it will only negotiate a nuclear deal and end the war if Israel halts its bombing campaign. Diplomats confirm Tehran's message to Gulf states is clear: no negotiations under attack. US President Trump, at the G7 summit, urged both sides to talk immediately, while Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi called on Trump to pressure Netanyahu. Indirect US-Iran talks were disrupted by Israel's offensive, which has resulted in significant casualties on both sides. Gulf states are mediating to de-escalate the situation and restart diplomatic efforts.
