Sam Burns holds a one-stroke lead at the US Open after a dramatic third round at Oakmont. Australian Adam Scott, tied for second with J.J. Spaun, carded a 3-under 67, his best round at a major since 2018. Burns and Scott will be in the final group Sunday; Burns seeks his first major win, while Scott aims for his second, which would be the longest gap between major wins. Tough course conditions, including rain and wind, challenged players throughout the day.
