Anker Innovations is recalling 1.15 million PowerCore 10000 portable chargers due to fire and explosion risks. The lithium-ion batteries in the affected chargers (model A1263), sold between 2016 and 2022, can overheat, causing melting, smoke, and fire. Nineteen incidents, including minor injuries and property damage, have been reported. Consumers are urged to stop using the chargers immediately and contact Anker for a free replacement. Proper disposal of the recalled batteries is crucial due to fire hazards.
