Dow futures fall 600 points after Iran is targeted: Live updates

US stock futures plunged Thursday night following Israel's airstrike on Iran. The Dow futures dropped nearly 1.4%, S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures each fell 1.6%. This occurred despite positive US economic data, including a cooler-than-expected producer price index and consumer inflation reports. Oil prices surged over 7%. While some positive economic indicators and potential tariff extensions boosted investor sentiment earlier, concerns about the White House's tariff policy and President Trump's threat of unilateral tariffs limited gains.
