Packers WR Melton Tries Double Duty: Offense and Defense | JQJO

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Bo Melton is experimenting with playing cornerback, a position he played in high school and college. The Packers are thin at cornerback after releasing Jaire Alexander, while their wide receiver corps is deep. Melton clarifies he's not fully transitioning to defense but is trying to add versatility. His attempt has confused some, including his brother, a cornerback for the Cardinals. General Manager Brian Gutekunst sees potential value in Melton's dual-position ability, though Melton acknowledges he's not comparable to two-way standout Travis Hunter.
