HP Launches First Google Beam 3D Video Conferencing Device

HP unveiled the Dimension, the first device using Google Beam (formerly Project Starline) for lifelike 3D video conferencing. This $24,999 enterprise-focused device boasts a 65-inch light field display and six cameras, creating a realistic 3D image without special glasses. A separate Google Beam license is required for video calls via platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. Launching later this year in several countries, the Dimension features adaptive lighting, spatial audio, and aims for a truly immersive experience, promising realistic eye contact and presence.
