The United States suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat against Switzerland in a World Cup warm-up friendly. This loss marks the Americans' fourth consecutive defeat, their longest losing streak since 2007. Switzerland dominated, scoring four goals in the first half, exposing defensive vulnerabilities within the US team. The match, played just over a year before the 2026 World Cup, raises serious concerns about the team's readiness for the tournament. Several key players were absent, but the performance still highlighted significant weaknesses under new coach Mauricio Pochettino.
