While Waymo believes the vehicles weren't targeted, they were caught in the unrest alongside other property damage, including Lime e-scooters. The company is cooperating with law enforcement and continues operations elsewhere in Los Angeles. Waymo's self-driving cars have faced vandalism incidents previously in various California locations, including San Francisco and Beverly Grove. The suspension's duration remains unclear.
