June's full moon, also known as the strawberry moon, reached its peak on June 27th. This year's strawberry moon is unusually low in the Northern Hemisphere due to a major lunar standstill, a phenomenon affecting the moon's orbit. The moon will appear near the center of the Milky Way, which is also on display during its annual "Core Season." Other celestial events this month include the visibility of Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, and Venus. The year will also feature additional full moons and eclipses, including a total lunar eclipse in September and a partial solar eclipse on September 21st.
