Minnesota is under an air quality alert from 11 p.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday due to wildfire smoke from Canada. The alert affects the entire state, with air quality expected to reach unhealthy levels for sensitive groups, including children, the elderly, and those with respiratory issues. A hazy sky and smoky smell are anticipated. The MPCA advises reducing activities that worsen air quality, such as burning and unnecessary vehicle use.
