Capcom unveiled Resident Evil Requiem, the next mainline entry in the survival-horror franchise, during Summer Game Fest 2025. Launching February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game features a new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, and a return to a destroyed Raccoon City. The trailer hints at a blend of survival horror and cinematic action. Capcom also teased another upcoming Resident Evil title and confirmed new remakes and a film adaptation are in development.
