Ballerina Underperforms; John Wick Spin-off Disappoints | JQJO

Ana de Armas' "Ballerina," a John Wick spin-off, debuted with a disappointing $10.65 million on Friday, underperforming projections. The $90 million production is pacing behind previous Wick films, though reviews have been positive. Disney's "Lilo & Stitch" continues to dominate, while other films like Wes Anderson's "The Phoenician Scheme" and "Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part Two" are also performing in theaters. Despite a strong "A-" CinemaScore, "Ballerina's" box office success remains uncertain.
