Knicks Eye Kidd as Next Head Coach | JQJO

The New York Knicks are reportedly pursuing Jason Kidd as their next head coach following the firing of Tom Thibodeau. Kidd, who played for the Knicks and coached the Mavericks, has organizational ties and a strong relationship with Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson. While Kidd recently signed a contract extension with Dallas, teams have previously paid compensation to acquire coaches, suggesting the Knicks may need to do so as well. Other coaching candidates include Johnnie Bryant and Chris Finch, though the Knicks' pursuit of Ime Udoka is unlikely to succeed.
