The Israeli military announced the recovery and return to Israel of the bodies of two U.S.-Israeli citizens, Judi and Gad Haggai, killed in the October 7th attack in southern Israel. Their remains were retrieved near Khan Younis, Gaza, following an intelligence-led operation. The Mujahideen Brigades, a Gaza militant group, had taken the bodies. While this brings the total of recovered bodies closer, around 36 deceased and 20 living hostages remain in Gaza, prompting ongoing negotiations for their release.
