The Israeli military recovered the bodies of Judi and Gadi Haggai, an Israeli-American couple, from southern Gaza. They were killed during the October 7th Hamas attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz. Their remains were returned to Israel for identification. At least 56 hostages remain in Gaza, with around 20 believed to be alive. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed condolences, vowing to continue efforts to secure the return of all hostages. The Hostages and Missing Families Forum urged a ceasefire to facilitate the release of the remaining captives.
