Over 20,000 Cologne residents are being evacuated due to the discovery of three unexploded WWII U.S. bombs. The evacuation, Cologne's largest since 1945, encompasses a 1,000-meter radius, including hotels, schools, and the Messe/Deutz train station. Authorities are defusing the bombs, causing the closure of the Hohenzollern railway bridge and Rhine shipping. The bombs were found during road construction work.
