Two bridge collapses in western Russia, attributed to explosions by officials, have resulted in at least seven deaths and numerous injuries. One incident involved a passenger train in the Bryansk region, causing fatalities including the train driver. A second collapse in Kursk involved a freight train, resulting in a fire but no casualties. Russia's Investigative Committee is investigating the incidents as potential acts of terrorism, though later removed the word 'explosions' from their statement. Damage to railway tracks has also been reported in the Bryansk region.
