Two rail bridges in western Russia collapsed on Saturday and Sunday, causing train derailments. In Bryansk, a road bridge fell onto a passenger train bound for Moscow, while in Kursk, a freight train derailed, injuring the driver. Russian authorities initially attributed the collapses to explosions, but later removed that word from their statements. Social media videos show the devastation in Bryansk.
