Remnants of ex-Tropical Storm Alvin are bringing unusual rainfall to the Southwest US, with up to an inch expected in some areas. This moisture will then move to the central US, fueling severe thunderstorms from Monday through Tuesday. The storms are predicted to bring damaging winds and hail to areas including the Texas Panhandle, southern Minnesota, central Texas, and southern Wisconsin.
