"Karate Kid: Legends" debuted with $21 million, slightly below expectations, but still a decent opening. The PG-13 sequel, reuniting Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio, aimed for $25 million. Disney's "Lilo & Stitch" reboot topped the box office with $63 million, followed by "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" with $27.3 million.
