A salmonella outbreak linked to recalled cucumbers from Bedner Growers has sickened nearly 40 people across 18 states. At least 16 have been hospitalized. The cucumbers were sold between April 29 and May 19 and distributed to restaurants, hospitals, cruise ships, and grocery stores, including Target. The CDC is investigating and believes the actual number of cases is likely higher. This outbreak follows a larger one in 2024 linked to contaminated water at Bedner Growers' farms. Symptoms include diarrhea, fever, and vomiting.
