Fielder Slams FAA's 'Dumb' Pilot Training Response | JQJO

Nathan Fielder, creator of HBO's 'The Rehearsal', criticized the FAA's response to the show's portrayal of airline pilot communication issues. Fielder, a trained 737 pilot, stated the FAA's mandated communication training is inadequate, consisting mainly of PowerPoint presentations lacking emotional impact. He argues the show highlights areas needing improvement in pilot communication, despite not offering specific solutions, and deems the FAA's response 'dumb'. The show itself follows Fielder as he helps people rehearse life's significant events through elaborate simulations.
