Hezbollah falling apart: Surprising Israel-Lebanon collaboration revealed

Lebanon's military, aided by US-relayed Israeli intelligence, has made significant progress in disarming Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, achieving roughly 80% of its disarmament goals. This follows a November ceasefire ending fierce hostilities with Israel. Prime Minister Nawaf Salam is pushing for nationwide disarmament, facing the challenge of extending this success while navigating Lebanon's fragile political landscape and Hezbollah's uncertain commitment beyond the south. The effort involves disarming Palestinian factions as well, though Hezbollah's cooperation may be strategically motivated by securing reconstruction funds. Concerns remain about potential escalation if Hezbollah resists disarmament efforts in northern Lebanon.
