Square Enix announced the Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake, releasing October 30th on PS5 for $59.99. Pre-orders include a "Trouble-Free Travel Kit" with in-game items also obtainable through gameplay. Players with Dragon Quest 3 save data receive bonus costumes. The remake features updated visuals blending polygonal and pixel art, along with added story elements and multi-enemy battles in the original Dragon Quest. A collector's edition is available, but its contents are less impressive.
