HBO's Harry Potter series has cast its leads: Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, Arabella Stanton as Hermione, and Alastair Stout as Ron. The three newcomers were chosen from a pool of 32,000 child actors. Filming begins this summer at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, with the first season airing in 2026. The series, a faithful adaptation of the books, boasts a star-studded adult cast including Paapa Essiedu, John Lithgow, and Janet McTeer.
