Russian strikes across Ukraine killed at least 12 people and injured dozens more overnight. Attacks targeted multiple regions, including Kyiv, where houses were set ablaze. Three children were among the victims in Zhytomyr. The strikes occurred despite recent prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine and ongoing diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire, which Russia has not agreed to. Russia also reported repelling Ukrainian drone attacks on its territory.
