Russian military hackers 'Fancy Bear' target Western aid supply chains to Ukraine, NSA report says

The US National Security Agency (NSA) revealed that Russian military intelligence hackers, linked to the GRU unit 26165 (Fancy Bear), targeted Western logistics and technology firms supporting Ukraine. The 2022 campaign aimed to gather intelligence on aid shipments by breaching companies and accessing footage from over 10,000 internet-connected cameras near transit points in Ukraine and neighboring countries. Hackers used spearphishing and exploited vulnerabilities in remote access devices. Authorities warn of continued surveillance and advise enhanced cybersecurity measures for at-risk entities.
