Alex Garland, director of A24's "Warfare," will helm a live-action adaptation of the acclaimed video game "Elden Ring." Produced by A24 and Bandai Namco, the film will be based on George R. R. Martin's mythology and written by Garland. The project reunites Garland with A24 following the success of "Warfare." "Elden Ring," a critically acclaimed action RPG with over 30 million units sold, won multiple awards at the 2022 Game Awards. A spin-off, "Elden Ring Nightreign," launches May 30th, followed by the "Tarnished Edition" for Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
