Sudan's army claims to have completely expelled rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) from Khartoum state, following a recent large-scale offensive in Omdurman. This announcement comes nearly two months after the army retook Khartoum city. The RSF has yet to comment. The conflict, ongoing for over two years, has caused a major humanitarian crisis, displacing millions and leading to accusations of war crimes against both sides. Meanwhile, diplomatic tensions escalated between Sudan and the UAE following accusations of UAE support for the RSF, which the UAE denies.
