RFK Jr.’s FDA Severely Restricts COVID Vaccine Use

The FDA has approved the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine, but with significant restrictions. Only adults over 12 with pre-existing conditions increasing their COVID-19 risk will have access. This decision, criticized by some experts as "incredibly disappointing," limits availability to healthy adults and raises concerns about future COVID-19 variants. The restrictions follow four years of trials and come amid concerns regarding Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s vaccine skepticism. Unlike Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, which received full approval earlier, Novavax was only granted authorization for limited use.
