Tap title to read story
A new section of border wall, proposed by Donald Trump, threatens wildlife in Arizona's biodiverse San Rafael Valley. Nearly 25 miles of barrier are planned, severing a crucial wildlife corridor for animals like bears, mountain lions, and jaguars. Environmental groups condemn the $46.5 billion project as environmentally disastrous and costly, highlighting its impact on animal migration and the valley's unique ecosystem. While unauthorized crossings have decreased, critics argue the wall targets an area with minimal human migration, emphasizing the project's political motivations.
