A Russian drone attack on a civilian bus in northeastern Ukraine killed nine and injured four. The Sumy regional military administration reported the attack, which occurred near Bilopillia, shortly after peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul. Ukrainian officials condemned the strike as a war crime, while Russia claimed to have targeted a military staging area. Russia hasn't directly commented on the bus attack. The peace talks, facilitated in part by a US delegation, yielded a prisoner exchange agreement but left many key issues unresolved.
