No pilot for 10 minutes during a Lufthansa flight in 2024 because of fainting incident, report says

A Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Seville experienced a critical incident last February when the co-pilot fainted, leaving the cockpit unattended for 10 minutes. The Airbus A321, carrying nearly 200 passengers, maintained a stable flight due to the autopilot. The captain's attempts to access the cockpit were initially unsuccessful, but the co-pilot eventually opened the door. An unplanned landing in Madrid followed, with the co-pilot receiving medical attention. Both Lufthansa and Spanish aviation authorities investigated the incident.
