Nintendo announced free Switch 2 upgrades for several popular titles, including major installments from Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon franchises. These enhancements range from improved visuals (resolution, frame rates, HDR) to new GameShare multiplayer functionality for up to four players with local and online chat. Games like Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and various Zelda titles are among those receiving the free updates, available on the Switch 2's June 5th launch.
