Ralph Fiennes will portray President Snow in Lionsgate's upcoming "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping," a prequel set 24 years before the original. The film, directed by Francis Lawrence and starring a previously announced ensemble cast, adapts Suzanne Collins' novel. Fiennes follows Donald Sutherland's portrayal of the character in the original film series, with producer Nina Jacobson expressing excitement about his casting.
