GTA 6 delay so Rockstar could 'achieve its creative vision with no limitations', says Take-Two boss

Take-Two Interactive delayed Grand Theft Auto 6's release to May 2024 to allow Rockstar Games to fully realize its creative vision. CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed the delay, stating the extra time ensures the game meets quality expectations. While delays are undesirable, Zelnick expressed confidence in the new release date. Take-Two maintains a busy release schedule for the upcoming fiscal year, including Borderlands 4 and new installments of NBA 2K and WWE 2K.
