Cosmo Jarvis will portray Joseph Stalin in "Young Stalin," a period thriller directed by Géla Babluani. Based on Simon Sebag Montefiore's bestseller, the film depicts Stalin's early life as a bank robber in pre-revolutionary Russia. The film, financed by Access Entertainment and others, will begin principal photography in Tbilisi in July. It explores Stalin's transformation into a dictator, focusing on a significant bank heist and his ruthless ambition. The project is being presented to international buyers at Cannes.
