Harvard Magna Carta 'copy' is original, experts say

Harvard University's Magna Carta, previously believed to be a copy, has been identified by British researchers as an original 1300 version from among seven surviving documents issued by King Edward I. Experts from King's College London and the University of East Anglia analyzed the document's size and handwriting, confirming its authenticity. This discovery is significant as the Magna Carta is a foundational document for constitutional law globally, and its re-classification comes amid Harvard's current challenges with federal funding.
