A new Museum of Survivors has opened in Brněnec, Czech Republic, at the site of a former textile factory where Oskar Schindler saved 1,200 Jews during WWII. The museum, partly funded by the EU and the Arks Foundation, showcases the history of Schindler, his wife Emilie, and the Löw-Beer family, alongside Holocaust survivor testimonies. The opening coincides with the 80th anniversary of WWII's end. While fully restored, the site's remaining buildings await further renovation, including Schindler's office and SS barracks which will be transformed into additional exhibition spaces. The museum currently focuses on educational activities for schools.
