The Virtual Telescope Project will attempt to livestream the event, starting May 8 at 11:40 p.m. EDT. The uncontrolled reentry makes observation challenging, but if successful, viewers may witness a bright meteor-like streak. Due to its durable construction, some parts might survive re-entry and land on Earth.
