Tap title to read story
Google Maps for iOS now lets users save locations from screenshots. Powered by Gemini AI, the feature scans photos for location information in screenshots (e.g., social media posts, articles). Users can grant full photo access for automatic scanning or manually upload screenshots. Found locations are saved to a dedicated list accessible via the 'You' tab. The feature is currently available in US English, with broader rollout expected.
