Disney is building a new theme park resort on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, its seventh globally. Developed by Miral, with Disney overseeing creative design and operations, the park will leverage cutting-edge technology and unique storytelling. Disney will receive royalties but not directly invest capital in the project, which is separate from its $60 billion theme park investment plan. The location, easily accessible to a large population, will offer a new frontier in theme park experiences, featuring themed accommodations and unique dining and retail experiences.
