Marvel's "Thunderbolts" debuted with $76 million domestically, a solid but less-than-spectacular opening compared to previous Marvel films. While the film received positive reviews and an 'A-' CinemaScore, its performance is similar to previous MCU releases like "The Eternals" and "Ant-Man and the Wasp." "Sinners" maintained strong box office numbers in its third week, while "A Minecraft Movie" continued its impressive run. Other new releases included "Rust," and "The Surfer", both with significantly lower box office returns.
