Musk's next task? Reviving Tesla in Europe where sales have plunged by more than half in a year

Tesla's European sales plummeted in April, with declines exceeding 50% in several countries including Sweden (81%), the Netherlands (74%), and Denmark (67%). France saw a 59% drop, and Norway a 38% decrease. Analysts attribute the slump to various factors, including Musk's controversial political involvement, aging models, competition from rivals like BYD, factory shutdowns, and regulatory delays for self-driving features. While Germany's April figures are pending, a 62% decline was already reported for the first quarter. Despite these setbacks, Tesla's stock has risen following Musk's announcement of reduced involvement in his Washington role.
