Nintendo Switch 2: Iterative Upgrade, No Rush to Buy
Tap title to read story
The Nintendo Switch 2 is now available for preorder in the US, but it's already sold out. While the upgrades are good, including improved graphics and frame rates, they're iterative rather than revolutionary. Many upcoming games will also be available on the original Switch, lessening the urgency to upgrade immediately. The Switch 2 offers some new features like enhanced Game Chat and mouse-like Joy-Con functionality, but these may not be game-changers for everyone. Waiting to upgrade is advised, although tariff fluctuations could impact future pricing.
