Pope Francis' coffin has been sealed in a private ceremony at St. Peter's Basilica following a three-day period where approximately 250,000 mourners paid their respects. The ceremony, led by Cardinal-Camerlengo Kevin Farrell, included the reading of a document detailing the Pope's life and achievements. His wooden coffin, containing his personal effects and papal insignia, was sealed inside a zinc coffin, which was then further sealed with official seals. The Pope's funeral Mass is scheduled for the following day.
